This year’s brewery tour is taking place on May 17 from 4-5 pm at Oakshire Brewery! Take a break with the ASHRAE team for some mechanical systems, beer tasting and sun (hopefully! ☀️🤞)

ASHRAE will be hosting an Ice Cream Experiment + Social as part of HOPES[24]. The workshop will take place in LA 206 on Friday April 13 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. Hope to see you there! 🙂

Andy Weber and Chris Laswell from Terracon will be stopping by (post career fair) to give a building materials workshop! Event includes: Hands-on application of materials, a few intro to building enclosure demos and pizza 🙂

Calling undergrads and grads to apply for a scholarship from our host chapter in Portland. Complete the application. Submit a resume in lieu of pages 2-4 of the form.

1. You do not have to be an engineering major to apply for the scholarship.
2. You do not have to be an ASHRAE member to apply for the scholarship. However, your chances are improved if you are an ASHRAE student member. If you are interested in becoming a student member, go to https://www.ashrae.org/membership–conferences/join-now for more information or complete 2017-2018-Student-Member-Application-2cau5l9 and give to Alison, she will send in for you.
3. Scholarships will be awarded late winter/early spring at the annual student recognition night held in conjunction with the monthly Oregon Chapter ASHRAE meeting. The Student Chapter Meeting will be held in February. Professor Don Corner and Kevin Waldrop (UO Project Engineer) will be giving us a tour of Lawrence Hall! Come with us as we climb to the roof and slide down to the basement to see all the systems unveiled.

Pizza will be provided! There is a 30 person limit, so sign up now outside of PAC 100 (Alison’s lab)!

Interested in becoming a LEED Green Associate? Come to our workshop led by David Posada from SERA Architects. We will be going over exam material, practice questions, how to register for the exam and more!
